Hell
Hell doesn't look too exciting. If you never accept
Christ as your personal Savior, you will spend eternity in hell, I can
assure you that this is true. "I think everyone should go to heaven,"
someone recently told me. I do too, everyone should accept Jesus, then
they will go to heaven. Someone also said to me, "If God is love then
He wouldn't send anyone to hell." Exactly, I agree, For God so loved
the world that He GAVE His only begotten Son. God loves us so much that
He chose to die on a cross for our sins so we wouldn't have to pay for
them in hell. It wasn't about Him, it was about us. He gave up all He
had for us. Who else would die for your sins, or could you give your
life for someone else's?
What in this world is so wonderful that it's worth
going to hell for? Nothing. Jesus says in Matthew 16:26 "For what is
a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?"
And further more, this life without Christ doesn't
have anything to offer. Oh, I know you think it does, but what's so
great? Money? What a joke, money can't buy happiness. Jay Gould, the
American millionare, had an enormous fortune. When dying He said, "I
suppose I am the most miserable man on earth." What about pleasure?
Yeah right. Lord Byron lived a life of pleasure and ease. He wrote:
"The worm, the canker and grief are mine alone." I could go on and on.
My point is this, only Jesus can give you true happiness, now and for
eternity.
If you only have hope in this world, that's pretty
scary. 2 Corinthians 6:2 says: behold, now is the accepted time; behold,
now is the day of salvation. Don't put it off any longer friend, ask
Christ to save you today. It's as simple as saying a little prayer to
Him. Say this from your heart: Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying
for my sins, I ask you to forgive my sins and come into my life and
be the Lord and Savior of my life, thank you for heaven, in your name,
I'm born again, amen.
How wonderful for you if you just got saved, you are
now a new creation in Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says: Therefore if
any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away;
behold, all things are become new. And guess what? Heaven will be your
home for eternity.
